What better way to spend a hot day at Big Sandy Camp than on or in the water?  The beach is always a popular place for campers to spend their free time.  We offer swimming, hydro-biking, paddle boating, canoeing, jumping on the water trampoline, and taking a trip down the gigantic waterslide.  You can also bring your own fishing tackle and try the catch the "Big One".

    The American Camping Association stipulates that we have a certified lifeguard on duty for all waterfront activities.  During swimming time, we utilize the 'buddy system' for extra accountability.
